Each star represents a state
Each Stripe represents the original
13 colonies.

The colors are very symbolic

Red= Hardiness & Valor

White= Purity & Innocense

Blue= Vigilance,Preserverance & Justice

By the dawns early light
What so proudly we hailed
At the twilights last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright Stars
Through the perilous fight
O'er the ramparts we watched
Were so gallantly ,yeah,streaming?

And the rockets red glare glare
The bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night
That our flag was still there.
